Newborn sessions are unlike any other kind of photography. Your baby is brand new — still curled from the womb, still learning what light and air feel like. These first days are extraordinary, and they pass impossibly fast.
I specialise in gentle, posed newborn photography that prioritises your baby's safety and comfort above everything. I work at your baby's pace — never mine.

My maternity sessions document a partnership, an anticipation, a whole life about to change. I work in studio and on location across West Yorkshire.

Sitters & Toddlers
This is one of my favourite stages to photograph. Your baby is no longer a sleepy newborn but not quite a big child either — they're discovering the world with wide eyes and the most wonderfully unfiltered expressions you'll ever see.
From that very first wobbly sit-up at six months to the confident, curious toddler at two — every milestone in between is worth capturing. These sessions are playful, patient and completely led by your little one.
I work at their pace — which sometimes means waiting for the perfect giggle, following them across the studio floor, or bribing them with snacks. Whatever it takes to get that genuine, joyful shot.

Perfect timing tip: The ideal ages for a sitter session are 6–8 months when babies can sit confidently but aren't yet on the move. For toddlers, 18 months to 2 years captures that brilliant age of personality before the terrible twos fully arrive!
